Beaches

The beaches of Harran may be tiny but being located close to the city center definitely works to their advantage. You can take a bus or simply go for a short walk and end up sunbathing on clean and warm sand in no time. However, the Harranians tend to leave the hubbub of the city at weekends and seek comfort and quietness in nearby towns, so the beaches are mostly crowded with tourists. Aside from sand beaches, Harran boasts also a small but charming shingle beach with a marina, where you can hire a boat and go for some sailing.
