Know Your City

The City Council and the Academy of Harran invite all citizens to free tours around our beautiful city. The idea behind the “Know Your City” campaign is to familiarize all of us with the intriguing history of our home. Starting November 7th, everybody can take part in free tours that will introduce them to most important historic events that left their mark on Harran.

The tours start every Saturday and Sunday at 11 AM. All participants are asked to meet at the statue of Benedict the Great. The campaign will last until the end of the year and aim to spark the citizens’ interest in history, archeology, and architecture.
